“There’s a reason why they say ‘back in the day’.” Though she cannot recall who said it, the phrase remains Cassandra’s favorite quote. It is a reminder to her that while she must respect the past, that doesn’t mean it will set the standard of how to define the present, or how things will proceed into the future.
The youngest daughter of a prominent businessman and an educator, Cassandra has been about the business of doing things her way from the very beginning. Though she has demonstrated talents in both the corporate world and the education community, Cassandra has dedicated herself to artistic expression.
“I want to challenge the status quo!” she said when she approached the Confederacy. Thus, she has embraced the idea of writing multi-genre stories.
